Tag 3 im Big Blind Antes $5.000 No-Limit Hold’em der WSOP 2018 startete mit 24 Spielern. Arne Ruge ($14.572) war einer der Ersten an den Rails. Der Deutsche rannte mit Dreien in die Kings von Shawn Buchanan. In der selben Hand nahm der Poker-Pro auch Ran Ilani ($14.572) vom Tisch.
Ebenfalls in einem 3-way All-In erwischte es Jan Von Halle ($17.583; Foto). John Amato eröffnete mit , Von Halle ging mit Jacks all-in und dahinter schob David Peters seinen Stack in die Mitte. Amato hatte beide Spieler gecovert und callte. Das Board brachte Peters das Full House und Von Halle Platz 16.
Noch vor dem Ende des Tages wurde der Final Table erreicht. Ein Stuhl ist bereits geräumt. Patrick Truong verpasste mit Ace-King gegen die Damen von Buchanan das Board und kassierte $34.862 für Platz 9.
Shawn Buchanan führt mit 2,58 Millionen in Chips vor Jeremy Wien (2,46 Mio). David Peters (1,93 Mio) geht von Rang 3 aus in die Entscheidung und ist der einzige Spieler, der bereits ein Bracelet sein Eigen nennen darf.
