PokerStars lud von 23. bis 29. September ins belgische Casino de Namur zum € 175 MegaStack Turnier. Dabei ging es nicht nur um einen garantierten Preispool von € 100.000, sondern auch um den ersten Platinum Pass für die PSPC Barcelona 2020.
Sieben Events standen letzte Woche in Namur auf dem Programm, Highlight war aber natürlich das Main Event, für das man sich auch auf PokerStars
qualifizieren konnte. 1.823 Entries kamen dabei zusammen und so konnte die Preisgeldgarantie pulverisiert werden. Nach den Abzügen wurden noch € 251.525 auf die Top 207 Spieler verteilt. Einige Deutsche waren in Namur am Start und einige konnten sich auch in die Geldränge spielen. Franz-Josef Breuer Breuer scheiterte knapp vor dem Final Table, der musste sich mit Rang 13 für € 2.440 begnügen. Abdessamad Ayyad schaffte den Sprung an den letzten Tisch und sorgte schließlich mit Rang 5 für € 10.350 für das beste deutsche Ergebnis.
Im Heads-up gab es einen Deal, bei dem sich Antonio Cabanas-Fernandez mit € 27.942 das meiste Geld sichern konnte, am Ende ging aber Norman Bultot als Sieger mit € 27.432 und der Trophäe nach Hause.
Grund zu jubeln gab es für Jasper Van Laethern. Er sicherte sich in einem Crazy Pineapple Flip, der an Tag 2 des Main Events gespielt worden war, den $30.000 (€ 26.466) Platinum Pass zur PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship in Barcelona.
