Tag 2 beim € 5.300 Main Event der PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) ist gespielt und von den 1.154 Entries sind noch 141 Spieler übrig. Die Geldränge sind erreicht und Roman Herold führt das Feld vor Xiaqing Ji und Bryn Kenney an.
Die Late Reg war noch zum Start von Tag 2 offen. Insgesamt 1.154 Entries (inklusive 294 Re-Entries) sind es letztlich geworden und so landeten € 5.596.900 im Pot. Die Top 167 Plätze wurden bezahlt und tatsächlich wurden die Geldränge auch schon an Tag 2 erreicht.
Viele deutschsprachige Spieler hatten es in Tag 2 geschafft, nicht alle sollten aber die Geldränge erreichen. So gingen unter anderem die Späteinsteiger Matthias Eibinger, Andreas Klatt und Dimitri Steinfeuer leer aus, auch Rainer Kempe, Kai Herold, Sebastian von Toperczer, Ole Schemion, Johannes Dandl, Enrico Rudelitz, Robert Heidorn und viele mehr mussten sich verabschieden. 1.< Sie waren in guter Gesellschaft, denn auch Dermot Blain, Pascal Vos, Will Kassouf, Parker Talbot, Steven van Zadelhoff, Peter Turmezey, Juha Helppi, Per Linde und so weiter mussten sich vor den Geldrängen verabschieden.
In Level 15 war man auf der Bubble angekommen. Ein wenig sollte es dauern, dann konnte „in the money“ verkündet werden. Sami Shokry hatte nur 21k, was rund fünf BBs entsprach, als er mit all-in war. Am Flop spielte Yehuda „chikkita banaana“ Cohen an, nur Max Deveson callte. Am Turn check-callte Deveson erneut, am River checkten schließlich beide. Deveson zeigte , aber Yehuda Cohen holte den Pot mit den Assen. Sami ging als Bubble Boy leer aus, während die verbliebenen 167 Spieler € 8.960 als Min-Cash sicher hatten.
Während Fedor Kruse verdoppeln konnte, blieb es für Fabian Gumz beim Min-Cash, weil seine Könige von Tom Vogelsang mit zerstört wurden. Auch Adrian Mateos erwischte es mit gegen von Tomas Paiva, weil die Queen am Board fiel. Raphael Wimmer eliminierte mit Natalie Teh mit . Hossein Ensan erwischte mit den Jacks noch Bruno Lopez mit .
Am Ende des Tages waren noch 141 Spieler übrig, wobei sich Roman Herold mit 769.000 Chips die hauchdünne Führung vor Xiaqing Li mit 768.000 Chips gesichert hatte. Bryn Kenney liegt auf Rang 3 schon mit ein wenig Abstand.
Auch Akin Tuna schaffte es noch unter die Top 10, Markus Dürnegger, Fedor Kruse oder auch Andreas Bölling sind ebenfalls unter den Big Stacks. Martin Finger (Sieger 2011) ist ebenso noch dabei wie Hossein Ensan, der nicht nur amtierender Weltmeister, sondern auch der Sieger der EPT Prag 2015 ist. Viele weitere deutschsprachige Spieler sind in Tag 3, alle haben € 9.850 sicher.
Bis der Sieger der EPT Prag feststeht, dauert es noch, am Ende warten schließlich € 1,005.600. Heute geht es aber um 12 Uhr in Level 16 bei den Blinds 2k/5k/5k weiter.
