Recht zügig lichteten sich die Reihen, auch Nicolas Chouity konnte mit den Assen Ilya Pavlov mit Pocket 9s auf Platz 48 verabschieden. Dario Sammartino erwischte es auf Rang 29 ($24.700), als er mit 
gegen 
von Gerard Carbo hatte. Andrea Dato baute kräftig auf, als er mit 
Mustafa Biz mit den Königen nach Hause schickte. Yannick Schumacher erwischte mit den Tens dann Nicolas Chouity mit 
und dann war Schluss für Harald Sammer. Er setzte auf

half nicht und Harald kassierte $28.425 für Platz 25.
Je länger der Tag dauerte, desto vorsichtiger wurde das Spiel und so waren es noch 20 Spieler, als es in die Dinner Break ging. Bart Lybaert war short und musste sich schließlich mit Sevens gegen die Asse von Priit Parmasto auf Rang 20 für $37.650 verabschieden. Auch Anton Wigg verpasste Tag 5, mit Fives flippte er schlecht gegen 
und musste Platz 18 für $37.650 nehmen.
Nach dem Ausscheiden von Atanas Malinov war Schluss, die letzten 16 Spieler packten ein. Andrea Dato sicherte sich mit 6.155.000 Chips die klare Führung vor Gilles Simon mit 4.430.000. Auch Kenny Hallaert (2.965.000) ist noch mit dabei – ebenso wie Yannick Schumacher, der allerdings mit 1.39.000 Chips im hinteren Drittel zu finden ist.
