39 Spieler gehen in Tag 3 der $10.000 Pot Limit Omaha 8-handed Championship (Event # 69) der World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022, aber trotz guter Ausgangspositionen ist kein deutschsprachiger Spieler mehr dabei. Chipleader ist Michael Duek.
Die Late Reg war noch zum Start von Tag 2 offen und viele nutzten noch die Gelegenheit, darunter auch Robert Wilke, Ben Yu, Cary Katz, Koray Aldemir, Mauricio Ferreira Pais und wie erwartet auch Phil Hellmuth.
Während Koray mit einem Double-up startete, mussten unter anderem Phillip Hui oder auch Michael Mizrachi gleich wieder gehen, auch für Brian Hastings, Matt Glantz und Anthony Zinno war es nur ein sehr kurzer Tag. Auch für Phil Hellmuth war bald wieder Feierabend, aber er hat ja noch einige Gelegenheiten, um Bracelet # 17 zu holen.
Die DACHs waren teils sehr gut aufgestellt in Tag 2, für die 103 Geldränge, die $16.047 sicherten, war es einige doch zu weit. Jens Lakemeier ging ebenso leer aus wie auch Oliver Weis, Koray Aldemir, Benedikt Eberle, Ismael Bojang, Tarkan Karadas und Jan-Peter Jachtmann, der gegen die Asse von Shiva Dudani lief. Auf der Bubble ging es in die Dinner Break, Fabian Brandes brachte gleich in der ersten Hand nach der Break das Feld ins Geld, als er mit William McMahan mit auf einem Board von verabschieden konnte.
Fabian Brandes war dann aber auch der erste DACH-Spieler, der zur Kasse ging, Platz 95 brachte ihm $16.047. In weiterer Folge erwischte es Clemens Von Blanckenburg (83/$17.551), Oswin Ziegelbecker (81/$17.551), Tim Grau (67/$20.059), Mauricio Ferreire Paris (50/$23.868) und Quirin Zech (47/$26.764).
Mit 39 Spielern ging Tag 2 zu Ende, Michael Duek holte mit 4.460.000 Chips die klare Führung. Alle haben schon $30.557 sicher, der Sieger kann sich auf $1.246.770 freuen.
