An Tag 1b des Masters Finale powered by EPT in der WestSpiel Spielbank Dortmund-Hohensyburg traten gestern Montag, den 25. Februar 2013, weitere 217 Spieler an, sodass man auf insgesamt 466 Teilnehmer kommt. Beim € 1.100 No Limit Hold’em Main Event warten auf den Sieger €110.000 und der Min-Cash auf Platz 64 ist noch mit €2.000 dotiert. Als Chipleader geht Jonas Kilian mit einem komfortablen Stack von 248.900 Chips in den zweiten Tag.
Wie angekündigt gaben sich zahlreiche bekannte Namen der deutschen Pokerszene die Ehre. Von den PokerStars Pros waren EPT Siegerin Sandra Naujoks, die Tennis Legende Boris Becker und WSOP Sieger Michael Keiner am Start. Dazu kamen EPT Sieger Martin Finger sowie EPT Snowfest Gewinner Marius Pospiech. Auch Ole Schemion, der in den letzten zwölf Monaten weit über $2 Millionen Doller gewinnen konnte, war unter den Teilnehmner. Dazu kamen weitere bekannte Namen wie Mario Nagel, Giuseppe Pantaleo, Marko Neumann, Bernd Vogelhuber, Cengiz Uluso, Alexander Meidinger, Bastian Fischer, Khiem Nguyen, Hanns-Peter Jacobi und Torsten Brinkmann.
Wie immer konnten nicht alle der genannten Spieler ihre Chips durch den Tag bringen. Von den 217 gestarteten schafften es nur 89 ins Ziel nach Level 11. Auch für den Gewinner des Pokerfirma Gewinnspiels, Benjamin Unterberg, bereits vor Ende des Tages Schluss. Konnte er zunächst noch Sandra Naujoks mit 
gegen 
aus dem Turnier nehmen, scheiterte er dann mit Pocket 7s an den Kings von Thomas Michael Klatt. Boris Becker hatte viel Mühe, sich über den Tag zu behaupten, schaffte es aber letztlich genauso wie Michael Keiner durch den Tag. Für Marius Pospiech und Ole Schemion lief es hingegen wieder sehr gut. Beide schlossen den Tag mit einen Stack im vorderen Feld und schufen sich eine gute Ausgangsposition.
