2.419 Entries sind es beim € 174 + 25 Main Event der German Poker Days im King’s Resort Rozvadov geworden, am Ende gab es einen deutschen Dreifachsieg.
Nur ein Entry sollte letztlich fehlen um auch noch die 400k Marke zu knacken. Schon nach den Flights am Samstag war die € 300.000 Preisgeldgarantie (inkl. 4 x € 10.350 WSOPE Main Event Tickets) geknackt gewesen, gestern, den 20. Februar, kamen noch 383 Spieler zum Turbo Flight und mit 62 weiteren Re-Entries wurden es schließlich 2.419 Entries. Nach Abzug der 5 % Fee landeten so € 399.860 im Pot, die Top 4 erhielten das € 10k WSOPE Main Event Ticket.
Am Nachmittag ging es dann für alle verbliebenen Spieler ins Finale, das mit 40 Minuten Levels gespielt wurde. Alle Finalisten hatten schon € 300 nach Tag 1 erhalten, im Finale warteten auf den Sieger noch € 62.300 und das 10k Ticket. Bis in die frühen Morgenstunden am Montag sollte es schließlich dauern, ehe die Entscheidung gefallen war. Benjamin holte den Sieg vor Alexander Metz, Legolas 69 komplettierte den deutschen Dreifachsieg.
Die German Poker Days kommen bereits im April wieder und feiern das nächste Festival, jetzt aber machen sie Platz für die Spanier, denn schon heute beginnt das Spanish Poker Festvial. Das erste Event ist der € 50.000 GTD Spanish Cup. € 100 + 15 beträgt das Buy-In, gespielt wird mit 40.000 Chips und 30 Minuten Levels. Es gibt zwei reguläre Flights (Montag/Dienstag), am Mittwoch wird noch ein Turbo Flight gespielt, ehe es dann ins Finale geht.
