Im JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel läuft seit letzter Woche die erste Ausgabe des WSOP Supr Circuit. Die ersten zwei Goldringe sind vergeben, einen holte sich Philipp Krieger.
Insgesamt gibt es 15 Ring Events und £ 7.000.000 an Preisgeldern. Natürlich ist das Highlight das £ 3.000 + 300 Super Circuit Main Event, bei dem alleine £ 3.000.000 garantiert werden. Auf GGPoker konnte man sich online qualifizieren und auch schon Online Day 1 spielen. Erst am 8. August wird das Event gestartet, zuvor gibt es auch das £ 1.100 Main Event, bei dem £ 1.000.000 wartet.
Eröffnet wurde das Festival aber auch bereits mit Krachern wie dem £560 Mystery Million, bei dem ebenfalls wieder £ 1.000.000 garantiert wird. Vergleichsweise klein waren dabei zwei PLO Events. Eines war ein £1.100 PLO, bei dem 55 Entries verbucht wurden. Richard Ashby konnte sich den Goldring holen und kassierte £15.430.
Event # 4 war das £ 1.100 PLO High-Low, bei dem 44 Entries zusammen kamen. Philipp Krieger setzte sich durch, der Goldring bescherte ihm £14.000 Preisgeld.
